[edit] About the Hardware and Software

This wiki runs in a VPS under OpenVZ. This is largely possible due to the low resource utilization of Nginx.

Hardware node:

• 2x quad-core Opteron 8354 2.2GHz
• 16GB RAM
• Adaptec 5405 RAID controller
• 1TB RAID 10
• CentOS 5 Linux

VPS:

• 256MB RAM (actual utilization is <100MB for entire software stack)
• 10GB Disk
• Ubuntu Linux

Software:

• Nginx (always the latest development version)
• MediaWiki
• PHP
• PostgreSQL
• MediaWiki Extensions

StatCounter. Statistics were enabled beginning 2011/10/06, so be patient.
